The Jake Jackson Memorial Museum
and the Alice Goen Jones History Center are projects of the Society for research and
learning for the public use. Fund-raising projects are undertaken by
this organization on behalf of the museum and new ideas are always welcome,
and your continued membership helps to further these efforts.
New members are always needed to help preserve Trinity County’s
rich historic heritage. If you are interested in becoming a member of
the Historical Society, please contact the Jake Jackson Museum at P.O.
Box 333, Weaverville, CA 96093, or call 530-623-5211.
The benefits of membership are many! Your membership dollars keep the
Museum & History Center open and support the process of conserving
our artifact heritage. All members receive the Trinity Trails newsletter to keep informed about projects, meetings and activities
of the Society. Our monthly General Meetings, in the form of a pot-luck
dinner or field trip, provide an ongoing education in Trinity history.
