Due to Trinity County now being placed in California's most restrictive tier for Covid-19, Jake Jackson Museum, History Center, and Gift Shop will be closed. Although we remain hopeful, it is unlikely that we will open our doors again before the end of the year. Watch our website as well as Facebook for updates. To purchase gifts for the holidays such as our annual Trinity Yearbook, Calendar, or Christmas Ornament, please call us, email us, or send a message through Facebook (see below). Angela Brownlee, our receptionist, will do everything possible to see that you are able to get what you need before Christmas. Keep your eyes open for changes in the gift shop windows. We will be altering displays so that you can quite literally "window shop." We will also regularly use Facebook to feature different products the Gift Shop has to offer. Lastly, check out the books and ornaments we have for sale through our website. Again, please feel free to contact us with whatever your shopping needs may be. Your support is greatly appreciated during this time!

Facebook: Jake Jackson Museum or Trinity County Historical Society
The objective of the Trinity County Historical Society is to discover, collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge about the history of Trinity County. It is an organization of volunteers and all of its activities and accomplishments are due to the interest and effort of its members. The Trinity Pioneer Association and the Society of Old Settlers, an organization consisting of pioneers who arrived in the community prior to 1860, preceded the Historical Society.
Jake Jackson Museum and the History Center are projects of the Society
for research and learning for the public use.
