Independence Day, 2025
Both the Paymaster Mine Stamp Mill and the blacksmith shop were up and running during the July 4, 2025 Independence Day festivities in historic downtown Weaverville. We had many visitors to the museum, the history park, and the wagon barn. It was great seeing all of you and we hope you’ll come back to see us soon.

Lectures
The Trinity County Historical Society invites speakers to present on various historical topics. Programs are held monthly from November through May at the First Baptist Church, 1261 Main Street, Weaverville. The June program is our annual picnic, held at a different site (to be announced) each year.

Trinity County Historical Society Monthly Meetings
The Historical Society meets once a month on the Wednesday before each scheduled monthly program. As a Board we are focused on taking care of the monthly business of the Jake Jackson Museum, and new members are always welcome.
